🔥 Before You Begin

A great experience starts with intention.

✔ Choose a calm, well-ventilated space
✔ Protect surfaces with a towel or sheet
✔ Discuss comfort levels and boundaries
✔ Keep water nearby (not for wax — just in case)

First-time tip: Start slow. Less wax, more anticipation.

🕯️ About Your Candle

  • Crafted from low-temperature paraffin wax

  • Designed to melt smoothly, not burn hot

  • Wax typically melts between 48–52°C (118–126°F)

  • Colour and finish may vary slightly — each candle is unique

The sensation should feel warm and stimulating, never sharp or painful.

👇 How to Use

1️⃣ Light the Candle

Allow the flame to burn briefly until wax begins to melt.

⚠️ Do not allow a deep wax pool to form — pooled wax retains more heat.

2️⃣ Test the Temperature

Always test the wax on your own skin first.

  • Hold the candle 20–30 cm above the skin

  • Let the wax cool slightly as it falls

  • Adjust height until the sensation feels comfortable

Higher = cooler
Lower = warmer

3️⃣ Drip with Control

  • Keep the candle slightly angled

  • Rotate as you drip for even melting

  • Move slowly — anticipation is part of the experience

Layer wax gradually rather than pouring in one spot.

4️⃣ Build Sensation

If at any point the heat feels uncomfortable:

  • Pause

  • Raise the candle

  • Blow out the flame

Communication and consent always come first.

✨ UV Glow (If Included)

Some Curl & Crest™ candles reveal glow effects under UV light.

  • Use only a 365nm UV torch

  • Never shine UV light directly into eyes

  • Glow is visual only, not heat-related

🔥 Always extinguish the candle before using the UV torch.

🧼 Aftercare & Wax Removal

Once cooled, wax hardens and lifts easily.

  • Gently peel or flake away

  • Residue can be removed with warm water

  • Paraffin wax is non-greasy and skin-friendly

Optional aftercare:

  • Warm towel

  • Moisturiser or body oil

  • Time to relax and reconnect

Please read carefully.

🚫 Never drip wax onto:

  • Face, eyes, mouth, or hair

  • Broken or irritated skin

  • Sensitive areas without prior experience

🚫 Never leave a burning candle unattended
🚫 Do not inhale smoke directly
🚫 Keep away from children and pets

🔥 Extinguish the candle between uses — do not relight continuously.

📦 Storage & Candle Care

  • Allow wax to fully cool before storing

  • Store upright in a cool, dry place

  • Avoid heat and direct sunlight

  • Wrap gently to protect the surface
